Urge Reps. Pappas and Goodlander to Support the Block the Bombs Act

Reps. Maggie Goodlander (NH-2) and Chris Pappas (NH-1)

Since October 2023, when the skies over Gaza turned black with American-made fire, the United States has poured more than thirty billion dollars into the furnaces of Israeli war machines. Not aid. Not defense. Weaponry. Taxpayer-funded instruments of annihilation dropped on hospitals, schools, refugee camps. On bodies. On names. On futures.

This is not complicity. It is partnership. We are not bystanders. We are on the trigger end.

Fifty-four thousand Palestinians have been killed. Tens of thousands more maimed, starved, made homeless—deliberately, strategically, and with impunity. A genocide that is not unfolding in silence, but in the harsh light of day, under the blinking eyes of satellites and smartphone cameras. And still it continues.

Now, in the halls of Congress, something historic has been placed on the record: not a eulogy, but a line in the sand. On June 5, Representatives Delia Ramirez, Sara Jacobs, Pramila Jayapal, and Mark Pocan, along with 18 colleagues, introduced H.R.3565: the Block the Bombs Act. A bill that dares to name what too many still will not: That it is time to stop feeding the beast.

It is time to Block the Bombs.

This bill would halt the export of U.S.-made death to Israel: BLU-109 bunker busters, MK80 series bombs, JDAMs, GBU-39s, white phosphorus shells—the very weapons that have turned Gaza into a graveyard.

It will not pass quietly. It will need noise: your voice. Every Member of Congress must be made to hear what the people already know: That we do not consent to this carnage. That not in our name, and not with our money, shall bombs fall on children.

Write your Representative. Demand they cosponsor the Block the Bombs Act.

This is not charity. This is not diplomacy. This is a reckoning.

And maybe, just maybe, the beginning of repair.

As your constituent, I am outraged that the U.S. has sent over $30 billion in weapons to Israel since October 2023, enabling the genocide of Palestinians in Gaza.

Israel has killed at least 54,000 Palestinians, displaced over 90% of the population, and destroyed homes, hospitals, schools, and places of worship—all while blocking humanitarian aid and using U.S. weapons in clear violation of U.S. and international law.

That’s why I urge you to cosponsor H.R.3565, the Block the Bombs Act. This bill would stop the transfer of bombs, artillery shells, tank rounds, and other deadly weapons to Israel.

We must end U.S. complicity in Israel’s war crimes.

No more bombs. Not in our name.
