URGENT SIGNATURE NEEDED: Tell Governor Phil Scott that Vermont needs universal vote by mail
Governor Phil Scott
Vote by mail will be critical to Vermonters and our country in 2020. But right now, even as our Secretary of State and legislative leaders are preparing for all voters to receive their ballots by mail for November’s general election, the Phil Scott administration is standing in the way.
VTDigger reports:
“The Republican governor’s position clashes with the Secretary of State Jim Condos, a Democrat, who has advocated for moving ahead with a universal mail-in ballot system as soon as possible to keep crowds from forming at polling locations.”
Tell Governor Scott that you support universal vote by mail for November’s general election and for him to work with the Secretary of State and legislative leaders to protect our democracy and our right to vote.
