Whittier Alums Support Adjuncts

President Sharon D. Herzberger, Whittier College Administration

Join us in urging Whittier College Administration to respect the adjunct professors' right to organize and that all members of the Administration remain neutral throughout this process. Our expectations are that the administration will be neutral throughout this process and let the adjuncts decide for themselves whether or not they want to form a union. As students we were taught Quaker values, which are defined by the school as: respect, honesty, integrity, community, consensus, inclusivity and accountability. In accordance with these core values, we alumni fully expect the Whittier College administration to respect adjunct professors' right to organize and to allow the adjuncts to make this important decision through a secret ballot election.

We deeply value and support the adjunct professors and their right to make this important decision and hope that the Administration will show that they do too. Add your name to the petition to show your support.
