2019 Out At The Field- Equality Night with the Birmingham Barons

Start: Friday, May 31, 2019 7:00 PM

We are excited to kick off Central Alabama Pride week with our 5th annual “OUT at the Field” event. This event started when local LGBTQ leaders brought our community together to spend an evening enjoying America’s pastime. Working with the Birmingham Barons baseball organization, our event has evolved over the last few years.  During past “OUT at the Field” events, LGBTQ individuals and allies have had the opportunity to sing the National Anthem, sing God Bless America during the 7th inning stretch, and throw out the first pitch.  Additionally, the Barons have colored their Birmingham sign in rainbow colors on this night.

Over the years this event has grown and we are excited to announce that for 2019 the Birmingham Barons have named May 31st  as “Equality Night: Tonight we celebrate the LGBTQ community”.

The Birmingham Barons have shown support for the LGBTQ community. When marriage equality was named law of the land, the Barons colored their Birmingham sign in rainbow colors and they did the same to show support and solidarity for the community immediately following the Pulse Nightclub shooting.

We have made good friends with the Barons and we value their support. Help us fill Regions Field on Friday, May 31st by bringing together the LGBTQ community and allies for a night of fun.

We already have a ticket block with seats in a reserved section. To ensure that we are all sitting together, tickets must be purchased through this link.
