You are invited to an August 1-2 meeting of universal healthcare advocates in Denver, online and in-person. Build relationships, share strategies and tactics, work on your skills, understand the power needed to fix how we pay for health care in America, sustain hope, fight threats, and envision success. Our speakers will give us insight, inspiration, and joy in our fight for healthcare justice. They will show us how the path to a one-payer universal health care system runs through the states.

The Saturday session will open with comments from Abdul El-Sayed and a keyote address by Rose Roach:

Abdul El-Sayed MD, PhD, is an American physician, epidemiologist, educator, author, and progressive politician. He is recognized nationally as an expert on healthcare reform and was selected to serve on President Biden’s Unity Task Force for Healthcare in 2020. He is the author of Healing Politics: A Doctor’s Journey into the Heart of Our Political Epidemic and co-author of Medicare for All: A Citizen’s Guide.


Rose Roach is a prominent Labor leader and healthcare advocate, best known for her tenure as executive director of the Minnesota Association and her national leadership in the campaign for single payer healthcare.
