Please join us Friday, November 20th from 5-6pm MST (4-5pm PST, 6-7pm CST, 7-8pm EST) to meet our teen Artist Residents and hear about the artworks they have been creating over the past 6 months.
Our Climate Voice’s is excited to present visual works from Carmen Allison, Paola Arraut, Hal Hedinger, Suhaavi Kaur, and Taylor Yingshi.
Over the past six months these artist residents have engaged in community conversations related to their personal climate narratives, feelings of eco-anxiety, climate grief, and the development of visions for a climate just future. Through these dialogues in monthly workshops the artist residents have engaged in creativity as a pathway to processing uncertainty, loss, & grief in the climate crisis. These artists now join for a live opening virtual exhibition to share the culmination of their radical artworks that offer new and liberatory visions for a climate just future. Each artist will share several works which emerged throughout the duration of the residency, offering insight into their creative process as a young artist in the climate justice movement.
Note: We want this event to be accessible to everyone and we do have some free tickets available for those who are not able to contribute financially. Please email us at info@ourclimatevoices.org to register.
