Resistance and Renewal

Come celebrate a year of vital resistance and solidarity! This year we defended our rights and each other. Just weeks after Trump's election, Jobs with Justice co-convened the Bay Resistance Network—bringing 50 organizations together to prepare for key emergency actions.

Celebrate our wins! With labor and community working together, we won free tuition at City College for all San Francisco residents and saved the sub-acute unit at St. Luke's Hospital.

Come honor the Arab Resource and Organizing Center for their long-term organizing against state repression, militarism, and racism, and for their critical leadership in resisting the Muslim Ban this year.

Come honor Father Richard Smith for his tireless work for immigrant rights and police accountability, and for making St. John the Evangelist Episcopal Church a key community institution in the Mission that opens its doors to all in need. Join us at 5pm for Mission Night Walk led by Father Richard, to honor victims of violence and police misconduct and connect with the community around the church.

Come honor Angela Chan of Asian Americans Advancing Justice – Asian Law Caucus for her leadership role in the campaign to pass SB54, the California Values Act and her many years of outstanding legal advocacy for immigrant families, youth and victims of police misconduct.

We hope you can join us to celebrate and get joy and strength from each other's company for the year to come.

Light dinner and drinks will be served.
