NEW HOPE FOR ALL OF NEW YORK

Are you interested in connecting your faith to issues of social justice and building a more equitable society? Join Christians from across New York State, representatives of the New York State Council of Churches and other partners in Albany this February! We will begin the day long event with spiritual grounding, followed by basic advocacy training, workshops on issues including care for creation, immigration, mass incarceration and poverty alleviation and then finally visits to the offices of our elected officials. We are pleased to announce that The Reverend Dr. James Evans, Senior Pastor of St. Luke Tabernacle Community Church in Rochester, will offer a luncheon address. Dr. Evans is formerly President of Colgate Rochester Theological Seminary and Professor of Systematic Theology.
