NH Peace Action Annual Event

Start: Friday, October 1, 2021 5:30 PM

Please join us for our Fall Fundraiser, again this year on zoom due to COVID-19!  We're still featuring networking, an update about NHPA's work, opportunities for you to support NHPA, and an inspiring program.

Our very special guest speaker this year will be Phyllis Bennis.  Phyllis directs the New Internationalism Project at IPS, focusing on Middle East, U.S. wars and UN issues. She is also a fellow of the Transnational Institute in Amsterdam. In 2001 she helped found the U.S. Campaign for Palestinian Rights, and now serves on the national board of Jewish Voice for Peace. She works with many anti-war and Palestinian rights organizations, writing and speaking widely across the U.S. and around the world. She has served as an informal adviser to several top UN officials on Middle East issues and was twice short-listed to become the UN Special Rapporteur on Human Rights in the Occupied Palestinian Territory.

We'll start the evening off with "Virtual Cocktails" at 5:30. Once you join the meeting, you'll enter one of the sponsored breakout rooms with other activists from around the state. Get to know someone new. Do a little networking! Want to sponsor a breakout room? Email Doreen or purchase below. You can also purchase an event sponsorship. Either option comes with a free ticket.

During this evening’s program, we will take the opportunity to raise funds for our peace work. We are anticipating several matching funds campaigns!  Join us to grow peace in real time.
