Join community members and movement leaders to discuss how California can be a global model for the transition from a major oil-producer to a 100% renewable energy economy based on equity and justice. From wildfires, droughts, oil spills, refinery and pipeline explosions, and deadly pollution - Californians already know how serious the climate crisis is, and have felt its impacts firsthand. The fossil fuel era is ending, and this is our opportunity to lead a global transition that protects our health, our environment, and our communities.

As Governor Jerry Brown hosts the Global Climate Action Summit this September 12-14 in San Francisco, we must be be clear about what real climate leadership looks like, and how California can lead the way on building a fossil free economy based on sustainability and justice.

There is very limited parking onsite (off of Madison St), but there are several nearby garages, and it is walking distance from both 19th and 12th ST BART stations. Doors open at 6:15pm. The Program starts at 7:00 sharp, and ends by 9:00.
