I grew up in Blackwater, attending schools and collage in Farnborough. I decided to settle in Farnborough and start a family. I took some time out of the workplace to raise my children while my partner went to university to begin her career in the NHS. Most of my working life has been spent in warehousing and distribution. I worked my way to HGV driver before leaving the industry to start my own business.
I got fed up with spending my friday afternoons clearing up after my guys on sites instead of traveling home for the weekend. So I started tidy Fridays. We would spend up until 11:30 sorting little jobs from the week and then two and a half hours tiding the site and prepping for the week ahead. This ensured that everyone got home at a resionable time on a Friday evening but enabled everybody to come in on Monday and have all the materials and tools where they needed them
I have always been interested in politics, shouting loudly and often from my sofa. I am positive that there is another way so I decided to get involved. I am passionate about our manifesto and believe it will deliver a sustainable and just so society for everyone both now and for future generations. `
I look forward to having conversations and listening to people.
