Married for 19 years and a father to three wonderful children, my journey has been enriched by the values of hard work, compassion, and a steadfast commitment to making a positive impact. Professionally, I lead a dedicated payroll team within a large NHS organisation, where I've honed my skills in teamwork, leadership, and meticulous attention to detail. My personal passions extend to reading, cooking, and engaging with the latest in technology, reflecting my diverse interests and continuous desire for learning.

Beyond my professional life, I am deeply committed to my faith, which instills in me the principles of stewardship, community service, and respect for all creation. My love for football, as a spectator illustrates my belief in teamwork, strategy, and the joy of shared experiences. As a tech enthusiast, I'm always keen on exploring innovative solutions to everyday challenges, a philosophy I wish to bring into my role within the Green Party.

My candidacy for the local election is driven by a desire to blend these personal and professional experiences to serve our community's needs better. With a focus on environmental sustainability, social justice, and fostering a supportive, inclusive community, I am committed to representing the values and aspirations of the Green Party and all its members. My goal is to work tirelessly towards a future where our children, and their children, can thrive in a world that is green, equitable, and rich in opportunities.

Experience of delivering change

My experience in working for and delivering change is deeply rooted in both my professional and personal life. In my role as a team leader within a large NHS organisation's payroll department, I have been at the forefront of driving and implementing changes that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and employee satisfaction. Leading a team in such a critical function has taught me the importance of adaptability, clear communication, and the impact of well-thought-out changes on a large scale. This role has afforded me numerous opportunities to collaborate with diverse groups, solve complex problems, and deliver solutions that positively affect our staff and the broader NHS community.

Beyond the professional sphere, my commitment to change is also reflected in my personal endeavors. As a father and a community member, I have been actively involved in initiatives that promote environmental sustainability, support local youth sports, and encourage community engagement. My passion for technology and innovation has driven me to advocate for and adopt green technologies within my home and local community, demonstrating a practical commitment to reducing our environmental footprint.

In my pursuit of change, I have always been guided by the principles of my faith, which teaches respect for the environment, compassion, and the importance of community service. These values have inspired me to seek ways to make a positive impact, whether through volunteering, supporting local initiatives, or simply being a responsible and conscious citizen.

My candidacy for the Green Party is a natural extension of my lifelong commitment to change. I bring a unique blend of professional leadership, personal passion for sustainability, and a community-oriented approach to problem-solving. I am eager to leverage my experiences to contribute to the Green Party's mission of creating a more sustainable, equitable, and inclusive society.

Why am I standing?

In today's rapidly changing world, where global challenges such as climate change, social inequality, and political discord demand urgent action, I find myself driven to stand for election within the Green Party UK. The current state of affairs, both globally and within the UK, has underscored the need for leadership that is not only aware of these issues but is also committed to implementing innovative and sustainable solutions.

The escalating climate crisis is a stark reminder of the urgent need for environmental stewardship. As a father, the future well-being of my children and their generations is a personal concern. It compels me to seek actionable changes that safeguard our planet. My candidacy is fuelled by the belief that we can and must transition to a sustainable economy that respects our natural world while providing for the needs of our community.

Moreover, the current political landscape in the UK, characterised by division and short-term thinking, calls for a new approach to governance. One that is inclusive, forward-looking, and based on the principles of justice and equality for all. The Green Party's commitment to these values deeply resonates with my own beliefs and the lessons I've learnt through my faith, which advocates for a harmonious balance between humanity and nature, and emphasises the importance of caring for the most vulnerable among us.

My professional experience in the NHS, an institution emblematic of the UK's commitment to public welfare, has shown me the importance of strong, compassionate leadership in delivering change. It has also highlighted the critical need for sustainable practices within all sectors to ensure the long-term health and well-being of our population.

I am standing for election because I believe that together, we can address the pressing issues of our time through collective action, innovation, and a steadfast commitment to the values of the Green Party. I aim to bring my diverse experiences, from professional leadership to community engagement, to advocate for policies that ensure a just transition to a sustainable future, enhance social equity, and foster a political environment where dialogue and collaboration lead to meaningful progress.

How I will campaign

I don’t think I need to campaign if it is a non target candidate.
