IHB Honk and Wave to protest ICE, oppose fascism, and stand in solidarity with the people of Minnesota.
- When: This Friday the 27th, 4:30-5:30
- Location: In front of Silverside Church, 2800 Silverside Rd. (NOT on Pennsylvania Avenue and N. Bancroft Parkway as noted in the Sunday email).
- Parking: There is ample parking in the church parking lot.

‼️Sunday, March 1st
IHB Bridge Visibility Brigade in Claymont - to protest ICE and fascism and to promote No Kings 3 on March 28th.
- When: This Sunday, March 1st, 3:30-5 pm
- Where: on the I-95 Pedestrian Overpass in Claymont. For directions, click HERE.
- No need to bring signs - just wear warm clothing and bring a flag to wave if you have one.
- If weather conditions seem iffy (snow, cold, or rain that might impact visibility and safety), check with bridge organizer LaNae Schaal (lanaesolomon@yahoo.com) by noon on Sunday to confirm we're on.

1. Honk and Waves (all on Thursdays from 4:30-5:30 pm) You can arrive late or leave early - but please join us!
- March 5: Across from the Fraim Center, 669 S. Union Street. Theme: Promote 3/28 No Kings and protest ICE. Parking is on Union Street (NOT in front of the Fraim entrance, but along the basketball courts) or in the lot in Canby Park (across the street).
- March 12: Location on the Riverfront, TBD. Theme: Promote 3/28 No Kings and protest ICE.
- March 19: Along Pennsylvania Avenue in front of Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1502 W. 13th St. (Park in the lot behind the church.) Theme: Pro-Democracy and promotion of No Kings Wilmington on 3/28.
- March 26th: Location on the Riverfront, TBD. Theme: Promote 3/28 No Kings and protest ICE.
2. Citizens Bank Multi-State Protest #2 with Indivisible Newark - This protest is part of a coordinated campaign with our sister group in Philadelphia and others across the Northeast. IHB and Indivisible Newark are joining forces once again to amplify our message and make it absolutely clear to Citizens Bank: Delawareans don't want banks that facilitate ICE cruelty. - When: Saturday, March 7th, 11 am - noon
- Where: On the sidewalk in front of the Citizens Bank at 4345 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington. (Same location as the Feb. 14 protest.)
- Parking: Do NOT park in the lot of Kirkwood Plaza. (It is private property and the owners won't allow us to park there during the protest, even if we intend to frequent one of the businesses while there.) Instead, click HERE to see a map with parking recommendations.

NEWARK: Every Friday from 5:00 - 6:00 pm - Join the weekly, Friday evening rush-hour protest in Newark at the corner of Main St. and S. College Avenue. Bring a sign and positive energy and get ready to wave and cheer! (This is informally organized; come late, leave early, etc.).
This Saturday, February 28th:
1. Weekly Saturday events in Delaware hosted by other Delaware Indivisible groups:
- Kent County - Join Indivisible Central Delaware for their weekly sign wave in Dover: 10 am-noon at the Lowe’s in N. Dover (1450 N. Dupont Hwy). Bring signs!
- Sussex County - Join Indivisible Southern Delaware for their weekly sign waves:

2. Join the Kennett Area Democrats for their weekly peaceful protest in Kennett Square, every Saturday from 3-4 pm at the corner of State and Union Streets. Come out and encourage folks to "Honk for Democracy."

- And remember: If you encounter a heckler or counter-protester (organized or unorganized, from a simple raised finger to a verbal taunt), the rule of thumb is to IGNORE IT!! Do not engage.
