Food & Solidarity relies on volunteers to pack and deliver essential parcels. Select as many roles and dates as you can commit to. Roles are shared out to build capacity, so you may not be assigned the same role each time.

Roles:

• Rota Coordinator (Members Only): Manages the weekly volunteer schedule, ensuring a balanced mix of experienced and newer volunteers. (Includes contacting volunteers Monday–Wednesday to confirm shifts.)
• Dispatcher (Members Only): Coordinates the parcel-making process and oversees delivery/collection, ensuring smooth communication between volunteers and members.
• Parcel Maker: Prepares parcels based on members' orders, selecting and packing food and essential items.
• Driver: Uses their own vehicle to deliver parcels to members who cannot collect in person.
• Friday Delivery Receiver: Receives and checks deliveries of food and household items from wholesalers and other sources, preparing them for parcel assembly the following day.
• Saturday Phone Role (Members Only): Manages communication on Saturdays, possibly including follow-ups or finalizing delivery details.
• Monday–Wednesday Food Orders (Members Only): Calls members who do not have access to the internet or the necessary literacy/English skills to fill out the food selection form, assisting them in placing their orders.

Delivery receiving is 9:30am until 12pm.

Saturdays

For each Saturday, select one or more roles as applicable. Parcels are made between 9:45am and 1pm.
