The House of Representatives just passed a bipartisan tax package (the Tax Relief for American Families and Workers Act of 2024, H.R. 7024) which will temporarily expand the Child Tax Credit (CTC). We need to keep this momentum going and push this vital piece of legislation across the finish line as soon as possible, so struggling families can start accessing the expanded CTC THIS tax season! This would be a tremendous step in the right direction in reducing child poverty and giving parents the resources they need to work, raise their families, and contribute to our economy.
