Advocate for the Survival of ACA with DFA
DFA’s Health for All initiative focuses on the moral imperative for universal, simple, affordable care. We emphasize Health, not just health care, and all that implies. The Covid pandemic has brought into stark focus the need for transformational change in the care delivery and public health systems.
The Supreme court will hear arguments in November on repeal of the ACA, potentially eliminating insurance for millions in the middle of a pandemic. Doctors for America has been a passionate supporter of the increased coverage provided by the ACA, and we need to step up again. Physicians know how important the ACA is to our patients, and we need to speak out.The time is now to speak out as a physician or medical student to educate our communities and lawmakers.
