AG James: Fight the Slowdown of Mail!

Under the depraved leadership of Postmaster General Louis DeJoy, the American people can expect to see more major service cuts and mail slowdowns starting October 1st. These cuts threaten the timely delivery of mail, fair and safe elections, and the livelihoods of postal workers across America.

New York Attorney General Letitia James has already signed onto a letter opposing service cuts and slowdowns for USPS. Now, let's ask her to make good on that language and file an injunction against the slowdown of mail on October 1st.

Attorney General James, I am a constituent who is urging you to file a lawsuit to stop the slowdown of mail. I appreciated your letter back in June where you called on the Postal Regulatory Commission to oppose DeJoy’s proposed service cuts that could slow delivery times for first-class mail, shorten hours at some post offices and increase the postal prices. These actions will hurt the USPS and endanger vote-by-mail. I urge you to take action now.
