Deliveroo rider boycott - Wagamama Sheffield
Deliveroo riders in Sheffield are boycotting orders from Wagamama's on Friday night from 6pm-9pm.
Wagamama pride themselves on sustainability, business ethics and ‘kaizen’, Japanese for ‘good change’.
Riders, who help the company make huge profits, are asking for those principles to be applied to them.
Wagamama are complicit with deliveroo in:
- zero workers’ rights (no holiday pay, min wage or pension) -
- delays & unpaid time waiting for food -
- lack of basic support & respect -
Riders are tired of being ignored and are requesting a meeting with bosses at both companies to solve these issues.
