Giving Tuesday - NARN
Despite the challenges of the ongoing Pandemic, NARN continues to provide our members with ways to stay active through public comment opportunities, virtual film screenings, monthly letter-writing opportunities, online trainings, vegan outreach and community support. We may be on lockdown, but we still have the tools at our fingertips to make change.
NARN is a volunteer-run organization that depends on member support and community contributions to continue our work. Nonprofits like NARN are considered ‘non-essential’ because it advocates on behalf of those for whom our society places no value. We need to support our families and loved ones through this complex circumstance.
We all have gifts to give, and with social media, online giving, mail, and phones, there are limitless ways to use your generosity to support others. Please consider supporting NARN to help animals too.

#GivingTuesdayNow, May 5, is a global day of giving and unity that will take place on May 5, 2020 as an emergency response to the unprecedented need caused by COVID-19. It’s designed to drive an influx of grassroots generosity, community engagement, business and philanthropy activation, and support for underserved communities and nonprofits around the world. It's a day when we can all come together and give back in all ways. GiveBIG Washington follows on May 6.
While #GivingTuesdayNow reminds us about the importance of generosity during this global pandemic, it also reminds us of gratitude. Thank you for sharing all of the ways you are inspiring generosity in your communities. You are what makes this movement a reality.
