Indivisible KC - Missouri Menu for the Week of May 1st

Last week we hit the 100 day mark, this week we start another round of 100 days of activities and events to participate in! After going through the events for this week, view the Calendar at the very bottom of this menu for a look at what we currently have set up for you! Please read through all the events below before taking action so you don't miss out on anything!

Here's what we have going on this week:

Missouri Mondays this week we are saying NO to SB45! This bill would prevent employees who have experienced harassment, discrimination, or labor abuses from having their cases heard in public court by locking them into arbitration. Call and Write you Missouri House Representative today and tell them to Vote NO on SB45!

Then on Monday afternoon we come together as one people to organize our strength in numbers and mobilize a mass action on May 1st. Please join us at the United We Stand - Rally. For details, click HERE.

We are excited to announce on May 5-6th Indivisible KC is co-sponsoring the United We Stand Conference! We are even more excited to tell you one of the co-creators of the Indivisible Guide will be speaking on the opening night of the conference! After listening to your feedback we have changed up our Senate visit schedule. We will not be visiting our Senators offices this week. We will be visiting Senator Blunt's office next on Friday May 9th, 2017 and Senator Claire McCaskill on Tuesday May 16th, 2017. We encourage you to use the techniques and tools we have provided to you to get together with a few friends, neighbors or family members and visit your MoC's office to discuss the items that concern you the most! We will be soon be setting up a system where you can look up and find others who also would like to buddy up and go for an office visit! Stay tuned for that! Also look at the calendar below for an idea on our current plans for the next 100 days.

Can't make it to any of these? No problem, This week we are encouraging you to CALL, CALL, CALL your Representative and tell them NO! to TrumpCare 2.0! Then call your Senators office's to tell them you are not okay giving Tax breaks to the wealthy to only create more debt for our country!
