Indivisible KC -- Missouri Menu -- Week of May 8th

Last week we watched as the GOP passed their TrumpCare 2.0 bill through the house, now it heads to the Senate. We can not let this slow us down, we must keep calling, making visits to our Representatives offices to tell them we are disappointed in their votes, and to our Senators offices to tell them the House bill is unacceptable!

Here's what we have going on this week:

Missouri Mondays this week we are saying NO to HB1194! Missourians deserve to make a living wage and this bill prevents cities from being able to decide their own minimum wage. Tell your Missouri State Senator to say NO! to HB1194! Click HERE.

On Tuesday, May 9th we are heading to Jefferson City! This week is the last week of the 2017 Session at the Missouri Capitol so join us as we make our last visit for the year! We will meet with our state Representative and Senator! Click HERE for more details and about carpooling!

We will be back at Senator Roy Blunt's office, Friday, May 12th, 2017 at 12:00 PM . We will be telling the Senator we are NOT! okay with the TrumpCare 2.0 bill that was passed in the house. For details, click HERE.

We will be meeting with our two Representatives that voted for the TrumpCare 2.0 bill this week on Wednesday and Thursday. Come prepared to let them know we will not forget this!
