#LetBrightonAndHoveBreathe
Brighton and Hove has got a big problem with air pollution.
Dirty air causes over 100 early deaths in the city alone every year – and it hits children, older people and the poorest hardest.
Levels of toxic nitrogen gases from road traffic have reached double the legal limit in some parts of the city centre, even though almost a third of the people who live here don’t have access to a car.
#LetBrightonAndHoveBreathe is a campaign by Brighton and Hove Friends of Earth to clean up the air we all breathe.
