Mahoning Valley Movement Leader Skill Up

This free monthly series of workshops for the Valley community will build a robust skillset of community organizing, social justice action, and community building skills. The goals are for members of the community to share their existing skill sets and augment their skills in a peer-lead workshop environment so that our Valley community has a healthier ecosystem of organizers with strong skill sets and so that our various groups have a common language for coalition and collaboration across campaigns and projects.

Each session offers a tangible real world skill backed up with insights gleaned from progressive philosophy and real world case studies, preferably locally (or from our region). We will model our desires for building community by hosting each meeting as a collaboration between our group(s) and other groups and/or individuals in the Valley.
