Minutes of Oct 2022 Exeter Green Party Executive Committee meeting
Minutes of Exeter Green Party Executive Committee October meeting available now
These minutes underline that Exeter Green Party is in a difficult place. Winning elections isn't magic - it takes time and effort, which in turn requires willing people. We need members to step up and help between now and the May city council election. We have a gap in capacity, which means putting otherwise 'easy wins' for Green Councillors in Heavitree, Newtown and St Leonard's and St Davids at risk. It means not being able to expand into other areas of Exeter. If you have skills in good organisation or project project management, people management skills, or are willing to atconsider joining our friendly and fun door knocking operations, please email volunteers@exeter.greenparty.org,uk and someone will be in touch to have a chat. Or could you make a donation to support our essential election campaign expenses? https://exeter.greenparty.org.uk/donate/
In line with recommended good practice, our minutes are only available to read on the Exeter Green Party space on the national Green Party website. Every member is sent instructions on how to access the Exeter 'Green Spaces' webpage as you need a password issued by head office when you join.
How to access the minutes
Assuming you have your password, go to https://members.greenparty.org.uk/ then click on the Green Spaces on top bar, then 'Sign into Green Spaces'.
Then click on the 'spaces' icon on the black and white bar and enter exeter into the search box. That will take you to our own 'spaces' page where you can see the minutes for the AGM and Treasurer's report.
We appreciate that this is a fiddly process but it is a secure way of sharing sensitive documents. Accessing your Member-only Green Party pages does also give you access to lots of interesting guides, discussions and more.
