9to5 Georgia and the members of the GA Coalition for Paid Leave are working towards making paid family & medical leave a reality in the state. Effective paid leave policies are not only good for Georgia workers, but they are also great for Georgia businesses and families. Paid leave means that you can care for your kids when schools are closed. You can drive your parent to their next doctor's appointment. And you have time to recover after being sick. Everyone should be able to do that, without having to choose between their next paycheck or their health & family.
