Online meeting Tuesday July 26th  7.00 - 8.00 pm

This is a vital meeting for the future stability and effectiveness of Exeter Green Party and therefore also of our electoral success. Please try and attend if you can. The meeting will be online to enable as many members as possible to attend.

Election of new Executive Committee

We are supposed to elect a new Executive Committee; this is the group of three officers who manage the party on a week by week basis. They are the Party Coordinator, Elections Coordinator and Volunteer Coordinator.  However, no one has put themselves forward to stand within the deadline so the meeting will need to agreed a way forward. The good news is that since the deadline passed, progress has been made on finding people willing to stand and there is still time for other people to apply for any of the elected officer positions - more information about this will be available both at the AGM and provided to members after the AGM takesk place

Reflections and messages to Members

The Executive Committee, the first under our new constitution, will have been in post for 7 months by the AGM. We have set out some issues for members to be aware of, that we hope will help your thinking when you are considering both issues at the AGM and your views on decisions that will be taken by the next Executive Committee. We believe that Exeter Green Party is at a critical point in its history, with some serious risks caused by our success, but, if these risks are dealt with, a very bright future.
