Commissioner Terry's SPLOST Community Meetings
DeKalb County is currently evaluating needs and opportunities for SPLOST II (Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax), a one-cent sales tax that provides funding exclusively for infrastructure and community projects. Will you take this 4 question survey and share what you prioritize for your tax dollars?
I will also be hosting four SPLOST II Community Meetings this month to discuss opportunities, hear District 6's priorities, and answer questions. I want you there to ensure your voice is heard.

Earlier this Summer, the DeKalb County Administration conducted 5 community meetings to update constituents about SPLOST II. In an effort to make sure that all District 6 constituents are aware of the shortened timeline, and that the Presiding Officer has decided that additional meetings are not needed, I am hosting SPLOST II Community Meetings to discuss opportunities, hear District 6's priorities, and answer questions.
I want you there to ensure your voice is heard before the question is turned back to DeKalb County voters on the November ballot.
If you have not attended in-person or virtually, please take advantage of these final meetings and compete this simple survey. Your voice counts, it is important, and I would like to hear it!
About SPLOST
SPLOST I Funds, voted on in 2017, have provided tremendous benefits to DeKalb County residents and we are still using these funds for capital improvement projects today.
SPLOST II has the opportunity to collect over $600 million dollars to go towards projects DeKalb residents need and will benefit from for generations to come. Engaging the community must be prioritized to ensure we have ample opportunities to hear from DeKalb residents.
