Rahm and his hand-picked Board of Education have laid off hundreds of teachers, PSRPs & support staff. The Board’s Broke on Purpose budget also means:

• Cuts of $200 million primarily to students with special needs

• Cuts of $60 million to neighborhood schools

• Payouts of $300 million in termination fees to Bank of America and others

Attend CPS hearings on the budget for this school year and demand that CPS use their powers to get revenue and make rational budget decisions our schools deserve.
