Our objective is to stop the widening of Highways 101 in San Mateo County and 280 in SF County.

Widening highways is a waste of taxpayer money as it doesn't reduce congestion and simply encourages more people to drive. More cars means more greenhouse gas emissions, air pollution, traffic violence, and competition for Caltrain and BART. We should be spending our precious transportation dollars on improving transit, maintaining existing streets, and making them safer for people who walk and bike.
