The Sarahana for State Assembly Campaign just notched an historic victory, bringing a truly socialist platform and a DSA-endorsed candidate to the Hudson Valley. Fresh from that win, we’re turning our organizing energy towards helping our NYC-DSA comrades David Alexis and Kristen Gonzalez win their State Senate primaries on August 23rd!

David Alexis is a father of two and the founder of the largest worker-owned coop in the country. He’s taking on Kevin Parker, the chair of the senate energy committee, a man who has blocked climate action at every turn and takes more money from the fossil fuel industry than any other senator, including republicans.

Kristen Gonzalez is a community organizer and tech worker. The daughter of an immigrant family and a Queens native, she’s seen the two New Yorks that exist: The New York of the rich, and the one many of us know, where no matter how hard you work, you’re one disaster away from losing everything. She’s fighting for housing for all, climate action, and universal healthcare.
