West Depwade By-Election

A by-election for Norfolk County Council has been called for the 13th July in West Depwade. This is a valuable opportunity both to get another Green voice on the Norfolk County Council and to build momentum around the campaign to get Adrian Ramsay elected as the region's next MP.

West Depwade is made up of 16 villages between Diss and Wymondham including Bressingham, Burston, Aslacton, Ashwellthorpe, Forncett, Winfarthing, Tibenham, Dickleburgh and the Tivetshalls. 13 of these villages are in the Waveney Valley constituency where Adrian Ramsay is a national Green Party target for MP. We have an excellent candidate in Dr Catherine Rowett, a philosophy professor at UEA and former Green Party MEP. So this is both and exciting and a crucial campaign!

We have a number of action days coming up (see list on the right), and are also looking for teams of volunteers to do leafleting outside of these action days.

If you would like to leaflet, head up a leafleting team, or volunteer in some other capacity, please get in touch with ellisif.wasmuth@greenparty.org.uk. All skills and contributions are welcome and much needed: admin, data input, phoning volunteers, designing leaflets, media, social media etc. etc.

Finally, if you would like to support the campaign financially, please donate here - all contributions are very much needed and appreciated: https://actionnetwork.org/fundraising/elect-adrian-ramsay-suffolk-mp
