Western States Pact (Disaster Relief Expansion)

The Western States Pact was created to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic and the closed economies. We don't want to lose the momentum of these diverse states working together to attack a common enemy beyond borders. Wildfires and other environmental disasters are hurting our citizens now. We propose that the leaders a part of the Western States Pact expand their work to apply to disaster relief work.

10.3 million acres burned in the United States in 2020. Thousands lost their homes and some even their lives. Over a million acres are burning right now and this year and it's just going to get worse. We need help to keep our people alive and safe.

We're demanding that state and federal leaders put their money into actually contributing to stopping the wildfires that have been caused by past damaging endeavors. People need evacuation shelters and supplies. People need help.

Revolution Coalition is taking the action to get water, hand sanitizer, and socks to the families who are losing their homes in the destruction. We’re taking the action to support the thousands of predominantly low-income, homeless, and BIPOC communities that get hit by these disasters before everyone else. All we ask is for assistance. We cannot do this alone.

We're demanding that our political leaders take the action to support their people before they lose their lives.
