In 2022 YDSA chapters won increases to the minimum wage, secured better working conditions on campus, mobilized in support of striking campus workers and much more. And in 2023 we’re going to win even more.

That’s why we’re holding two trainings in early January about how to launch a powerful campaign in the new year. Whether your chapter has already been running a campaign for months or you’ve just started discussing the idea of making demands, these trainings are for you. The only requirement is desire to make a change and the belief that through orgnaizing, we can win.

Here’s what we’ll cover at these trainings:

• January 3 - Choosing a demand and identifying a target. This training is for chapters that still aren’t sure what the most strategic demand to make is. You’ll leave this call with a solid demand to build a campaign around and a target

• January 10 - Launching a winning campaign. If you already have a demand (or if you chose one on the first call) come to this training to build a plan to re/launch once school resumes. You’ll leave with an agenda for your kickoff meeting, an outreach plan, and a strategy to exponentially grow the number of organizers in your chapter.
