Welcome to the 100 Mayors for Guaranteed Income campaign!

COVID has brought into sharp relief the need for a guaranteed income in the United States. Our economy is fragile. Its health hinges upon the people having a regular source of income to inject into the market. It is increasingly clear that the health of our people and our communities also hinges on regular income.

The fight for guaranteed income must happen at all levels of government. Grassroots can have a huge impact on local leadership, who can in turn influence elected officials at the state and federal level. From this reality, the 100 Mayors for Guaranteed Income Campaign was born.

The 100 Mayors for Guaranteed Income campaign is designed for constituents across the country to petition and call their Mayors, urging them to support a guaranteed income. Local residents can write letters to the editors of local papers, or coordinate with organizations or small businesses to help Mayors understand their community's desire for a guaranteed income. Through direct and public communication, we can get 100 new Mayors to publicly support a Guaranteed Income in the fight for economic justice.
