On 26th April, Drax's board of directors will be getting together with shareholders to celebrate record profits of £732 million.
Whilst many are struggling to pay bills, Drax gets richer and richer every single year from burning trees. As the world's biggest tree burner and the UK's single biggest carbon emitter, they are responsible for climate disasters across the world, environmental racism and for poisoning their own workers.
In addition, Drax receives subsidies of £11 billion over a ten year period, which is footed by UK bill-payers and which steals money away from genuine renewables, such as wind and solar.
Across the UK, local groups will be taking action and standing up to Drax's tree burning. Sign up to take part and get sent our Action Toolkit!
