Educators will be using our “teacher voices” to take our message to the public with informational pickets September 19–23. Rather than closing loopholes on his billionaire donors and campaign contributors, Rahm and his handpicked school board are proposing pay cuts, cuts to pensions, the loss of steps and lanes, and the continuation of a longer school day. CPS educators not only teach our school children, but also look out for their safety, come in early and stay late, and use our own money to buy classroom supplies. Join us in taking on Rahm‘s anti-public schools agenda.
