He stood up for workplace safety, reinstating the Occupational Safety and Health Standards Board, previously abolished by his predecessor, former Gov. Matt Bevin, and again when the Legislature tried to weaken the board's standards. He's fought to protect unemployment insurance benefits for out of work Kentuckian, and again. And he's defended and the pensions of public educators. And Governor has continually walked alongside Kentuckians tragically impacted by disaster after disaster.
