Since the end of September, the government has been attempting to vote on a spending bill it has continued to be delayed since then. In December undocumented youth and allies have constantly put pressure for a Clean Dream Act to be added onto the spending bill. Time and time again politicians have given us false promises and they never get to work to make those promises a reality.
We have seen this in December and more recently in their most recent vote on January 19th. In these moments we must unite as a community and recollect ourselves before we take our next steps in this fight. Vigils are a great way to bring communities together and reflect on the current moment we are in. Join others across the nation as we get together and move forward in our fight.
