Join a virtual lobby visit with your representative to make your voice heard for Climate, Jobs, and Justice!

New York lawmakers need to act boldly on climate and environmental justice—whether it be through the state budget or as free standing bills during general session. After the state budget process concludes, legislators will lock-in their priorities for the final months of legislative session. To advance our package, it's critical they hear their constituents calling for Climate, Jobs, and Justice legislation to move from committee to the chamber floor!

That's why NY Renews is holding a post-budget grassroots lobby effort! With tens of lobby visits across the state, we'll advocate for components of the Climate, Jobs, and Justice that haven't yet made it across the finish line, whether it be additional components of the Home Energy Affordable Transition Act (NY HEAT), the Climate Change Superfund Act,  or the Just Energy Transition Act (JETA).

Never done a lobby visit before? No worries! There will be a lobby lead for each visit that will lead you through the experience and ensure that you're prepared to engage with your representative.

Lobby visits will primarily take places during the weeks of April 29th and May 6th
