50 years after the second largest oil spill in US history was discovered leaking under North Brooklyn, a fracked gas pipeline is being constructed in the same community. The project destabilizes local business and puts public health and safety at risk ahead of a global pandemic. HIDDEN COSTS focuses on patterns of community sacrifice for corporate profit and celebrates communities that have fought for generations for clean and healthy neighborhoods.
