2019 AEA UD2/HEA Summer Retreat
Start: Tuesday, July 09, 2019• 8:30 AM
End: Tuesday, July 09, 2019• 3:30 PM

Do you have ideas on how HEA can be a more effective organization? Are you curious about your legal rights as a public school employee? Are you interested in knowing the latest developments with public education from White Street to the White House? Whether you are a veteran building rep or you just joined this year, this summer retreat organized by UniServ Director Adam Keller is open to all HEA members. Up to 2.0 CEUs will be awarded as we explore topics such as Legal Issues in the School Setting, Social Media for School Employees, and Building Rep Basics. We will also hear from our delegates who represented Huntsville at the NEA Representative Assembly as well as set aside time to collaboratively plan for HEA's 2019-2020 school year. This training is free for members and lunch is provided.
If you want to know how to get involved in your association OR learn more about your rights at work OR help build a stronger HEA to in turn build stronger public schools, we need you here! The Association is member-driven and our strength (or weakness) depends upon the engagement of our members. Please join us for our 2019 Summer Retreat to kick off a new school year!
