Women's March LA is working with an amazing coalition of women in organizing International Women’s Strike, scheduled in Downtown LA (Federal Building) on Friday, March 8th, 4pm-7pm.

The day will feature music, poetry, healing & art and action areas.  As well as informative speakers, including community leader and activist Margaret Prescod.

Strike For: Reproductive Justice; Labor Rights; A Living Wage for all, including mothers and other caregivers; Full Social Services; Environmental Justice; an Anti-racist & Anti-Imperialist Feminism.

Strike Against: Sexual Abuse, Domestic & State Violence, Poverty, Discrimination, Criminalization of Survival; Environmental Devastation, War.

We celebrate International Women's Strike with women across the country in nearly 30 countries, including Argentina, Australia, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Costa Rica, the Czech Republic, Ecuador, England, France, Germany, Guatemala, Honduras, Iceland, Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, Israel, Italy, Mexico, Nicaragua, Peru, Poland, Russia, Salvador, Scotland, South Korea, Sweden, Togo, Turkey, Uruguay and the U.S., with others in contact to join in the near future.
