On Thursday, April 11, hundreds of crime survivors from across Illinois will gather at the Capitol in Springfield for the state’s sixth annual #SurvivorsSpeak. Representing a new movement of crime victims in the state, we will share stories, honor loved ones, and advocate for smart policies that support recovery for survivors and improve public safety.

#SurvivorsSpeak is the largest gathering of crime victims in the U.S. held each year during National Crime Victims’ Rights Week, and we will be in the Illinois state capitol for the first time ever!
