We encourage as many NYSUT Members to assist as possible in this vital effort to elect candidates who support our union and our values.

Member to Member Phone & Text Banks (Virtual)

No worries if you can't make it to the NYSUT Rochester Regional Office. You can make phone calls and send text messages from the comfort of your own home. Just check off the virtual option on your form, and your Regional Political Organizer will be in touch to get you set up with our virtual phone banks and text banks.

Important: When completing phone banks and text banking at home, you will need a computer and access to your own phone.

Member to Member Post Cards (Virtual & In-Person)

NYSUT empowers our members even more, this election season by sponsoring a Member-to-Member Postcard Program. This effort will allow NYSUT members to write encouraging notes to other members who may need a little nudge to remember to vote in this year's critical election. We are encouraging members to remember to vote for the NYSUT-endorsed candidates for state office, knowing that if we can get them to vote, that will assist them in voting for all crucial races, such as congress and the state legislature.

The postcards are designed with text that has been researched and tested and has a proven record of nudging voters to get off the sidelines and vote.

NYSUT will pay for the printing of the postcards and the postage. We need your help to write the notes. Are you able to help?
