Join the Center for Common Ground on December 5, 2024, for our final webinar of the year!
We will talk about how many Black voters we contacted in 2024, explore what worked & what didn't, hear from partners working on the ground in North Carolina and Georgia, and talk about what is next for 2025.
Speakers include:
Brandon Rivers: A seasoned political campaign strategist and community leader with extensive experience in voter engagement, civic advocacy, and mobilizing marginalized communities. Based in Charlotte, Brandon leads large-scale voter registration and education efforts, including coordinating weekly events and collaborating with community leaders to increase civic participation. As a member of The Center for Common Ground and Commissioner for the Future of NC Elections, he focuses on ensuring all North Carolina citizens are educated, empowered, and engaged in the democratic process. Brandon is committed to building inclusive communities and advancing policies that uplift underserved populations.
Ray McClendon: Ray McClendon is a committed civic engagement activist; Ray McClendon helped form Team Unity Georgia and Communities United for Justice. He served as Political Action Chair of the Atlanta NAACP for the past five years. Ray is also a founding board member of Lift Every Voice for Democracy and Every Voice Every Vote. McClendon has served as president of 100 Black Men of Atlanta, chairman of the National Association of Securities Professionals, executive member of the Atlanta Committee for the Centennial Olympic games, and presidential appointee to the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation.
