Atlanta for Palestine: Protest the Biden/Trump Debate!

Start: Thursday, June 27, 2024 7:00 PM

ATLANTA FOR PALESTINE! Biden and Trump, the two most unpopular candidates in history, are coming to Atlanta for their first presidential debate on June 27th. While both Biden and Trump re-affirm their support for the ongoing genocide in Palestine, working people in Atlanta are standing up and fighting back: FREE PALESTINE! Ceasefire Now! End US Aid to Israel! No Money for Massacres!

On June 27th, a broad coalition of organizations and movements are standing together in solidarity with the Palestinian people. We are planning a peaceful demonstration outside the anticipated debate location at the new CNN Studios, by the intersection of Fowler and 10th St NW in Midtown Atlanta. This tentative location may change. We invite all like-minded groups to join us and coordinate united protest actions.

Israel’s genocidal war in Palestine has killed over 35,000 people, the majority of whom are women and children, and displaced nearly 2 million Palestinians from their homes in Gaza. The President has the power to force the Israeli government to stop because the US government is sending them billions of dollars in military aid to help them carry out their genocide. We demand that the President withdraw US support for Israel, establish an immediate ceasefire, and ensure true peace, justice, and self-determination for the Palestinian people.
