On Sept. 15 you can join the movement to protect the free and open Internet and end the cable industry’s stranglehold over our media and democracy by hosting a Save the Internet demonstration in your community.
We are encouraging people across the country to organize an event in there area. Good event locations are public parks, outside the offices of Internet service providers or local cable companies, or any location that will draw a lot of foot traffic.
We can offer support to hosts with this handy toolkit from our partners at Free Press. Daily Kos and Free Press are available to help with questions.
