7/19/17 - IKC Missouri Member Meeting

We will be hosting a Missouri Member Meeting July 19th, 2017 at 6:30 PM.
The doors will open at 6:00 PM for social time and check in.
This meeting is intended to educate our Missouri Members several of the ballot initiatives happening in Missouri. We will also have opportunities for those members who want to get involved and volunteer to collect signatures to sign up and find a training that works for them!
Planned Speakers:
- Sean Soendker Nicholson with CLEAN MO to talk about this ballot initiative and opportunities for volunteering.
- Missouri Jobs with Justice to talk about why unions and workers' rights impact the political landscape in Mo, and why the "Right to Work" repeal ballot initiative matters.
- KC for $15 to discuss the upcoming election on Aug 8 regarding KCMO minimum wage.
Parking:
The church parking lot is on the south side of the church with entry from Walnut.
Parking is also available in the following locations:
- On the street along Walnut and Warwick.
- The Kemper/Kansas City Art Institute parking lot at 44th and Warwick just north of the Kansas City Art Institute Ceramics Building.
- The Plaza Marriott. Enter from 45th St between Main and the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art. There is ample parking there, some of it covered, though the hotel does charge a fee to park.
- Please do not park in the lot of the Holiday Inn.
