Un Día Sin Inmigrantes viene el Primero de Mayo. No trabajaremos. No compraremos. Vamos a unirnos para demostrar que este país no puede funcionar sin inmigrantes y que nos vamos a apoyar de uno al otro.

Hemos intentado todas las opciones. La comunidad ha manifestado, votado, y utilizado los tribunales. Hemos tenido unas victorias, pero no ganamos la lucha.

La huelga mostrará nuestro poder. La huelga va a demostrar que este país no puede funcionar sin inmigrantes. Así ganaremos protección, dignidad, y respeto.

1ero de mayo es sólo el principio. Estamos organizando una serie de huelgas que va a culminar en una semana sin inmigrantes. Todo empieza el 1ero de Mayo.

A Day Without Immigrants is coming May 1st! We will not go to work, we will not go to school and we will not buy. We are going to make it clear that this country cannot function without immigrants.

We’ve tried the usual tactics. For years our community has marched, voted, and gone through the courts. We've won some battles, but we're losing the war.

Striking reveals our true power. Striking will show the public that this country cannot function without us and help us win protection, dignity and respect.

May 1st is just the beginning. Cosecha is organizing a series of strikes that will culminate in a week without immigrants. It all starts on May 1st.
