Congress is considering whether to finally end subsidies for the fracking and fossil fuel industries. Legislation is being written and debated this summer, so now is the time to take action in our home districts and make sure that our Representatives hear from us directly!

Our Senator, Ben Cardin, is a key decision maker on this issue. Senator Cardin is on the Finance Committee, so his vote could decide whether we continue to spend billions of dollars subsidizing the fracking industry, or if we end those subsidies and invest in a clean energy future instead.

We'll meet near the big sculpture on the NW corner of South Charles St. and West Pratt St. There are many paid parking garages in the area. On street parking is difficult in this part of town. Please plan to pay for a garage or use another means of transit. Wear a mask and stay home if you're not feeling well.
